WHO ARE WE?
We are a locally tax exempt, registered non-profit and community based organization in Guam founded in 2008. We exist to strengthen the quality of life for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex persons, their families and friends through support, education and advocacy. We uphold a society that embraces social diversity through love and respect for all.

Since our founding, we have been your voice, proudly serving on numerous coalitions, workgroups, community boards, task forces and establishing community partnerships that ensure social services and policies are inclusive of the LGBTQIA+ community.
OUR PROMISE
Partnership for Success (PFS) Statement of Commitment on Substance Abuse Prevention:
GALA, Inc. agrees to not partner with the alcohol or tobacco industry or any other organizations whose messages and activities are contrary to promoting positive mental health and overall wellness. GALA agrees to not partner with or receive funds or materials from any alcohol or tobacco companies while engaged as a PEACE Partnership for Success Sub-Grantee. GALA shall ensure that no prevention messages, curricula, programs, strategies, materials, speakers, presentations, sponsorship and/or alcohol industries are utilized. Members of GALA pledge to sustain from using alcohol and tobacco, as well as illicit drugs during officially sponsored community events, meetings, performances, fiestas, sports events, etc... GALA will seek guidance from the Guam Behavioral Health and Wellness Center for any and all questionable situations.
